SOTABeams WSPR Testing Methodology

Richard from SOTABeams just shared a post validating a WSPR testing methodology, using multiple wsprlite devices.

The test  utilised two identical Chameleon P-LOOP antennas in a field, spaced  30m apart, in each others null.

Until recently, I’ve used WSPR to provide performance expectations of antenna systems featured on the channel. Based on Richards tests, I believe a more accurate test can be achieved (for comparisons), if using two WSPRLites. This is also true for two of my WSPR test kits with identicle hf radios and audio interfaces. I like the idea very much, but it does increase the complexity of man-portable field tests,  albeit with more accurate and comparable results.
