I’m always excited to see VA3OSO sharing new YouTube videos working portable. This time he takes out the ft-817 to activate 40 and 80m for the Ontario NVIS event. A real kick in the pants about his deployment was his use of a chain link fence as an antenna.
As grumpy as I normally am, mentioning to VA3OSO that his YouTube channel and his field operations are amongst my favorites, has probably slipped my mind. Nevertheless the fact that I’m sharing these excellent videos should give him some sort of hint.
