The channel and blog have never been about the numbers, but reaching the second milestone (10k subs) does enable some pretty cool features on YouTube for creators.
One of the driving forces behind what I do, is building a community around operators who want more from the ham radio than “another line in the log book”. The traditional ham radio communities we’ve come up over the years, seem to fail many of us who take amateur radio further, than your average weekend contester.
The first Milestone was reaching 1 million views on YouTube. The second is reaching 10,000 subscribers. Neither Milestone would be important if it wasn’t for the community features YouTube enables when you reach the 10000 subscriber mark.
So, many thanks for helping us reach these milestones. Having done so, I can finally get started!
