It’s Monday so that means we’re sharing another video from Gil F4WBY, the Radio Prepper.
In this video Gil explains why he believes the Yaesu vx-6r and vx-7r, are excellent handheld radios, for those interested in comunications preparedness.
I completely agree with Gils assessment. These radios are submersible rugged, have magnesium casings, wideband receive, double A battery tray, and wide voltage DC input, so no ridiculous charging dock or buck converters required.
