New Release: Increased Tensions

Many of us have watched the new cold war brewing for some time now. This increase in tensions has had a profound impact on my book writing. In fact, I can no longer sit by pretending the world isn’t on fire!

I’ll be dropping a few chapters of Grid down Emergency Communications over the next few days. This drop is a one page footnote, explaining how our communications strategy must adapt, as the world is changing around us. Here is a summary:

Summary: “Increased Tensions”

The world is changing, and so must our approach to emergency communications. “Increased Tensions” serves as a reflective footnote, acknowledging how today’s evolving global landscape demands more than conventional preparedness strategies. It highlights the importance of adaptable communication plans that go beyond traditional disaster scenarios—without resorting to fear or sensationalism. Resilience starts with recognizing the challenges ahead and preparing for them with clarity and purpose.

I wouldn’t normally make such a small drop, but this one is critically important. The reality of the world today, truly forces us to pay attention. Hopefully this one page perspective helps make my intentions clear, regarding communications preparedness.

If you still think I am being too diplomatic, let me know!
