Bench test success DIY Solar Generator

Today I’m running JS8Call Solar powered with the Yaesu ft-891. This is the first successful QRO test of the diy solar generator. It has also provided me with some much needed projdct motivation.

The Yaesu ft-891 is running at 50 Watts. The solar generator is also powering the Raspberry Pi, audio interface, and the laptop. The tablet on the right is running the battery monitor app on Android. It’s getting updates from the Bluetooth shunt measuring current and voltage from the solar generator.

Now it’s time to put it in the enclosure, and finalize this video.
